Site Reliability Engineer (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Run services
- Service Capacity planning
- Building automation and processes
- Emergency response
- Revising software designs to mitigate failures on other parts in the system
- Provide infrastructure and code best practices
- Consultant for our Dedicated Delivery Teams
- Performance Monitoring/Improvements
- Create hotfixes for owned Services
- General Monitoring of Services
Main qualifications
- Experience with previously working on a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team
- Knowledge in fault tolerance, cascading failures, capacity planning and disaster recovery
- Excellent knowledge with Ruby on Rails Skills 4.x/edge and with Ruby 2.3/edge
- Test driven development with RSpec and Cucumber
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL) and with complex applications
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery)
- Experience with performance monitoring
- Experience with Software/Systems architecture and with troubleshooting
- General Linux skills
