Task:Experienced Technical Architect
- Research the future 2nd level caching technology
Based on our current knowledge the support of the expert will be needed for at least 4 month.
• 4 weeks research
The investigation and requirement phase is expected to take 4 weeks. The targeted result is a well-founded decision matrix in order to select a candidate for a proof of concept.
• 12 weeks POC
The POC a prototype integration must proof, that the selected candidate can handle the load and meet the technical SLA’s.
The expert must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Technical Architect. Beside of the common skills of a Technical Architect the proven practical experience in the following areas is required to have:
Must haves:
Clustered, distributed and redundant cache and persistence setups and landscapes.
Caching technologies like Terracotta, EHcache, AWS Elastic Cache, MemCache, Ignite, Hazelcast IMDG
Databases RDB and NoSQL (!) like DynamoDB, Cassandra, MySQL
Cloud technology stack, esp. AWS
availability architecture design principles
Distributed computing / cluster architecture
IT security architecture, esp. measures for data protection like encryption
