For our Client, fast growing start up new media company in Berlin I am currently looking for a UI/UX FRONT-END DEVELOPER.Tasks:
- Developing a web job board/social media channel in order to increase the traffic of qualified applicants,
- Delivering usable user interfaces.
Knowledge and Skills:
-Passion for semantic, accessible, progressively enhanced HTML
- Creativity
- Understanding of Ruby on Rails
- Expert Photoshop or Illustrator
- Expert level HTML, CSS
- Expert cross-browser compatibility
- Javascript
- Team player
- Experience with agile test driven environments and Scrum
- Good communication skills - able to discuss and understand user requirements, and iteratively deliver and improve user interfaces
Nice to have Skills:
- Interest in HTML5 and CSS3
- Knowledge of various CMS software
- SEO skills
- All round full application stack web knowledge - Linux, SQL, solr/sphinx, mongoDB
Project duration: ASAP till 31.12.2010, min. extension till 31.03.2010
Project volume: full time
Languages: English fluent spoken and written; German will be a plus
