For our end customer in the Hamburg area we are looking for the following support in temporary employment:project/position: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer (m/f)
location: Hamburg (and surrounding)
start date: 05. February 2019 (asap)
duration: 11 months
Tasks:
• Maintenance and development in our BI context
• Detailed understanding of requirements
• Clarification of specifications with responsible Business analysts
• Implementation and Test of designed solutions for supported applications
• Application Maintenance and Support
• Incident and Problem Management - technical rootcause analysis, understanding of Cognos Framework Manager models and reports, PLSQL code, finding of workarounds
• Service Requests – configuration and minor standard changes
• Preparing documentation and standard operating procedures for 2nd Level Support Team
• Delivering solutions / bugfixes for supported applications
• Regular Communication with 2nd Level offshore and onsite
• Knowledge and Experience on implementing and maintaining Projects on EDSP Real-Time Integration Solution
Tools of the BI-landscape:
• Oracle incl SQL/PLSQL
• Talend
• Hadoop/Rapidminer
• Cognos
• Microstrategy
• others
During the assignment technology will be chosen. Main requirement will be user interface and ETL.
Advanced language-skills in German and English are required
