Beschreibung

Senior Sourcing Manager

Location: Solothurn

Duration: 10 months

Start date: End of February

Tasks:
  • Responsible for executing sourcing projects for multiple Technical and non-Technical categories of spend to support start-up of the Solothurn, CH manufacturing site.
  • Collaborating with cross function team of site based operational staff and global category managers and analysts to develop sourcing strategies, execute the sourcing process and negotiate contracts for the spend in each sub-category to meet site/client needs as well as corporate imperatives (eg, social responsibility, diversity, compliance, savings, etc.).
  • Build and/or sustain relationships with site management clients to ensure Sourcing is aligned with their objectives and is viewed as a trusted business advisor for all major outsourced services.
  • Lead the development and execution of robust site sourcing strategies that align with respective global category strategies and comply with Global Procurement Policies.
  • Lead client engagement efforts at the site operations management level to ensure Sourcing is aligned with their objectives, while securing their sponsorship to meet corporate imperatives (eg, social responsibility, diversity, compliance, savings, etc.) and to assign subject-matter experts to participate in sourcing projects.


Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years project management experience.
  • Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of Technical business functions and GxPs is a plus.
  • CAPEX experience
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with indirect reporting structures.
