Senior Data Engineer - Freelance - 12 Months - €700 p/dAn incredible opportunity to work in the headquarters of a global market leader with offices all over Europe. The Senior Data Engineer will have strong experience creating containerized applications using Docker. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer from a strong Software Engineering background who is strong with Java and Docker. Experience with Python, Hadoop and Spark would be a bonus.
Role:
*Develop and implement models using prototypes & proof-of concepts
*Optimization, development and implementation of solutions within data pipelines (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes)
*Use of service oriented architecture, container applications and functions, especially in cloud
Skills:
*Understanding of cloud computing tools (e.g.Azure)
*previous experience working with Docker or Kubernetes.
*Masters or PHD in area with computational element, e.g Computer Science
*English Speaker needed
*3+ years of experience
