The Digital Career Institute is a non-profit educational institution that specializes in preparing our participants for jobs in the digital world. Our Devugees program is focused specifically on providing education to refugees that are in need of qualifications for the german job market, which we recognize as one of the key steps to a successful transition to life in Germany. Our goal is always to provide the best education possible through continuous development of our concept.Who are we looking for?
For our web development program in Berlin we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer / Web Developer who would like to share their skills with our participants from all over the world. As lecturer you are part of our awesome team which educates students in various digital careers and you are able to contribute to the content of our curriculum. Your main task will be teaching our participants field of Web Development. Our curriculum includes:
- HMTL/CSS
- JavaScript
- React
- node.js/Express
- Github/Version Control
- Project management
Your profile
Beside your passion for Frontend Development you show strong interest in teaching and ideally have already some experience in leading a team, giving workshops or educating fellow developers. This means in detail:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Frontend Developer or Web Developmer
- Ideally you already have teaching experience
- A hands-on mentality
- Commitment
- Fluent English
