Task:- Analyzes and develops detailed requirements for software by interacting with non-technical business clients to elicit business requirements
- Coordinates software development projects with external service providers and monitors progress and fulfillment
- Supports business applications by assisting business clients in the use of applications and report creation, scheduling and execution
Requirements (Must have):
- Works closely with business/client to understand the business requirements for existing applications or new projects and develops effective working relationships to support the business in the ongoing use of the applications
- Defines the deliverables, requirements and work plan for new projects, and manages support and enhancement of existing applications
- Interacts and coordinates with external service providers to monitor and report project progress
- To ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards
- Facilitate requirements meetings between business clients and third party vendors
- Conduct project presentations and compile reports
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years information technology experience, ideally within a reinsurance/insurance company, in a business or systems analysis, consulting, or similar information technology role.
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience?
- Information technology and business unit quality assurance, testing, auditing or similar experience a plus.
- Experience in the above described technology and function environment a plus
Education:
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent education and work experience required.
- Previous formal training in project management and PMI certification in project management a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A proven track record of successful project implementation
- Excellent client facing skills
- Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
- Knowledge of MS Project and PMI PMBOK
- The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions

- Business Date Storage (BDS - Data Warehouse function) based on Oracle with semi-automatic data interfaces to all key business partners
- Salesforce.com as key tool for sales with interface to BDS
- Recently self developed Commission Calculation system (webbased) on Java basis with a Oracle database and interface to BDS
- New project (1): Integration of a Dealer System with Insurer Online Sale-System
- New project (2): Establishing a Dealer Service (web)portal based on BDS data
