Our client is currently looking for a HSE-Engineer (m/f/d) in Essen.
- Managing internal HSE reporting processes, such as the monthly HSE reporting or weekly HSE updates
- Responsible for internal HSE communication processes, such as development and communication of Safety Alerts or Intranet HSE updates
- Monitoring of key HSE processes defined in the EC&R HSE Management System, such as internal audits or incident management
- Administration and process improvement of IT-based reporting, analysis and incident management tools and processes
- Maintaining, improving, implementing and promoting the EC&R HSE Management System
- Support in the general day-to-day business of the EC&R HSE department
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering / safety engineering or similar
- High level of commitment and team spirit to work in an international team
- A structured, team-oriented and accurate way of working
- Good knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Desired Skills (nice-to-have):
- Experience working with HSE management systems and knowledge of international standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 is of advantage
- Knowledge of SAP applications of advantage
Required languages: Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages (e.g. German) a plus
