SAP Logistics Data Migration Consultant (m/w)Team member Master Data Management in an agile SAP S/4HANA 1809 template build project for the topic data migration and cleansing (MDG resources are planned in parallel). The project is a SAP template design project with S/4HANA. The organization will be set up with 6 business teams (Lead-to-Order, Service-to-Retention, Order-to-Cash, Forcast-to-Stock, Purchase-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) and several platform teams (development, data migration, etc.). The template build phase is planned from February until December 2019 followed by (pilot) roll outs throughout Q1/2022 (Europe scope), finalized 2025. The end date of the assignment may change and be enhanced to cover as well pilot rollouts.
The customer uses currently SAP ECC on HANA with SFIN 1605, SAP MDG and Salesforce. The new environment consists basically of S/4HANA, Salesforce for Lead-to-Order, Salesforce or SAP C/4HANA (still open) for Service-to-Retention (mainly field service) and SAP MDG. This new environment will be build up in parallel until go live of all company codes in the new to-be environment. SAP MDG-S / -M are already implemented (and have to be extended). For data migration the approach is with SAP data Services and/or with SAP Migration Cockpit and Migration Object Modeler
Main activities:
Consult the customer with Data Cleansing planning and requirements definition
Work closely with the E2E teams, the customer data owners and the MDG consultants to define data mapping and data transformation requirements for automatic uploads
Describe requirements for manual activities
Define and document to-be processes for master data set up taking into account x-system integration
Set up, and unit test automatic migration objects including fixed transformation rules
Run test loads and provide example data for the teams (by sprints)
Run productive Uploads
Skills:
Primary Skill:
o Proven experience in migration of SAP Logistics related objects > 5 years. Latest SAP Hana knowhow (1809).(Senior) / > 2 years. Latest SAP Hana knowhow (1809).(Consultant)
o Deep overview understanding of Logistics related business processes (mainly SD, MM, PP, EWM, TM) within SAP (both ECC and S/4HANA).
o Knowledge of SAP Data Management (RDS) and/or SAP Migration Cockpit and Data Object Modeler
o of setup of custom data objects, especially with SAP Data Management (RDS) and/or SAP Migration Cockpit and Data Object Modeler
Secondary Skill:
o LSMW know how
o Development know how to create custom data objects, especially to implement transformation rules
o Working experience with distributed teams (GDC India)
o A plus is experience in agile practises, Knowledge about agile value and principles, working experience in an scaled agile environment. Solution Manager integration knowledge with SAP Activate method is a big plus. Basic Atlassian Jira and Confluence experience highly welcome.
