CISCO Nexus Backup Engineer (CCNP) - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Cisco Nexus devices & latest technologies (vPC, OTV, VxLan, ACI).
- Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, Spanning-tree).
- Infrastructure design and engineering/troubleshooting skills.
- Able to multitask and demonstrate good client service orientation.
- Knowledge of routing and switching principles (CCNP level or higher).
- Knowledge about Cisco Catalyst is a plus (Routing & Switching).
- Experience with Scripting.
Description of work:
- Understand client requirements from a technical and a business perspective.
- Communicate with all stake holders; client, project manager, third party.
- Work with our clients to define projects features and parameters and provide recommendations.
- Write an as-built/migration/implementation plan.
- Troubleshoot possible problems during migration or in an operational network.
- Maintain and update documentation.
- Automate certain tasks via Scripting and/or orchestration tools.
- Have understanding of the ITIL principals.
