Beschreibung
Task:First step is to complete POC with IBM OMoC connection from Splunk client
connection. POC planned for mid-December 2018
Splunk team needs to establish connectivity, open-up firewalls, provide Ips, read and pull messages from MQs, consume the messages in Splunk and ensure the logs are processed and the dashboards work as usual.
Splunk team needs to participate in UAT testing during Feb and Mar 2019.Splunk team needs to support in cut over of changes from UAT to Prod and during the Production go-live for OmoC planned during end of April 2019. Splunk client will connect directly with IBM OMoC hosted MQ server and read messages on top of SSL/TLS protocol.
Requirements (Must have):
There are 4 end points in current splunk setup. Need to complete POC and decide whether we need four queues or one queue with multiple message types.
The format of the logs will not change from what exists today.
