My financial client are in need for a Senior platform Architect based in Eschborn for an initial 6 month contract.Preferred location in Eschborn near Frankfurt but 3-4 days a week onsite could be sufficient.
About this position
My client are looking for an experienced IT professional with professional leadership skills and a very broad knowledge base around mobile development and platform engineering. Specifically, its about iOS and BlackBerry solutions for you - from conception through implementation to support.
Your tasks
You are responsible for the platform engineering for their iOS and Blackberry solutions, in trusting cooperation with the responsible product manager.
Plus professional level 3 support and troubleshooting - solve any problems quickly and get smooth platform releases.
Likewise, create and manage complete documentation including technical designs, release notes, and test cases.
To ensure that all developed solutions work safely and comply with the guidelines, you actively coordinate with their other technology and security teams.
You work confidently according to agile project methods and pay attention to the consistent compliance with all SDLC processes - including change management.
Last but not least, you are responsible for the functional leadership and training of your colleagues - you pass on your know-how routinely for consistently result-oriented engineering.
Requirements:
- In-depth expertise in developing enterprise-class mobile solutions in a highly regulated context
- Excellent developer expertise in Apple (iOS and tvOS), Android, MobileIron, jamf, InTune and Pulse-Secure products, including integration into an enterprise architecture
- Alternative: well-versed in the development of Blackberry Dynamics/UEM
- Experience in Apple DEP - zero touch deployment as well as in the field of high automation
- Trained in Exchange 2010, Exchange 2016/O365 and SQL Server 2012+
- Well-versed in infrastructure design including DR, high availability, data centre (network/virtualization)
- Proficiency in O365, Exchange, Exchange Online, Skype, and subject-related certifications (BB/MDM)
- Broad understanding of ActiveSync and infrastructure fault analysis
- Familiar with security and compliance requirements
- English fluently in spoken and written
- You are responsible for the platform engineering for our iOS and Blackberry solutions, in trusting cooperation with the responsible product manager.
