Next Ventures is currently looking for a Drupal Architect for a global operating client in Germany/Cologne.
Key responsibilities:
Capture requirements and define technical architectures for web sites and solutions built on Drupal
Communicate solution elements clearly to development teams as well as client stakeholders
Lead hands-on development by solving complex challenges and creating examples for others to follow
Take ownership for troubleshooting, improving and enhancing systems
Act as a development lead and mentor to junior colleagues
Your profile:
Track record as an architect and consultant for enterprise-level online solutions with Drupal 8 and Acquia Cloud Site Factory
Full working experience in web technologies and tools (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, TravisCI, Behat, Drush, BLT)
Hands on experience is required on PHP, JS, MySQL, Apache, Varnish and other open source web technologies
Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution and building tools such as TravisCI, PHPUnit, Selenium.
Good communication skills
Profound background in online solution design, customization and operations
Experience in software design and specification with wireframes, data models
Very strong customer focus, appetite for travel and onsite client work
Excellent German and English written and verbal communication skills
Interest in working in a global delivery environment with development teams in near- and offshore
