We are looking for a Hardware Engineer (m/f) regarding HW-tests for our client in Stuttgart with the below requested skills and for the following tasks:Tasks:
- Project Multicarrier GSM Transmitter, hardware has to be calibrated and measurements have to be taken using a factory tool. For this purpose a testlist needs to be set up and the test need to be repeated with the then actual SW versions
- comprises Hardwaretests and Softwaretests as well as failure detection and removal, includes product optimisation (HW and SW)
- adjustment of test set up to reflect new requirements
- analysis of test results and checking whether the 3GPP specifications are met pre-series production
- development of board calibration tests for Multistandard Transceiver Module (GSM, WCDMA, LTE) according to HW development requirements; this includes board parametrization as well as control of test equipment
- Integration of developed functions with target HW and the generators and test equipment
Skills:
- Bachelor of Sience (or very experienced technician)
- Experience in 3GPP wireless standards (GSM, LTE, WCDMA)
- Experienced in high frequency test technology, frequencies up to 2GHz
- Experienced in high frequency development(Design, Layout, Test, trouble shooting, Validations and Optimisation)
- Basic knowledge in digital Signal Processing Technologies like Clipping and Preemphasis
- Know How of Matlab, Simulink and ADS
- Basic Know of function and control of analog components like: DAC, ADC, Attenuator, Synthesizer, ?
- proactive, result oriented , persistant and team minded mode of operation
- good power of comprehensiort complex technical systems
The project start will be in October with a duration till end of March 2011 with the option of extension.
