The Localization team within Web Channel Management is responsible for rolling out SAP's Web sites in local languages to all SAP country organizations worldwide, with focus on generating demand and leads.
The Project:
The Web Efficiency Manager SAP Business ByDesign (WE Mgr) maximizes the efficiency of the product-specific site(s) for SAP Business ByDesign in terms of driving traffic and generating leads. This will be done in collaboration with the country organizations, who are our main internal customers and operate as a channel to external prospects and customers.
- Web Analytics: The WE Mgr will be part of SAP's global Analytics team and provide guidance and support to the country stakeholders to convert quantitative insight into actions
- Systematic feedback gathering and converting local insight into pragmatic projects for the global organization. These projects will partly be driven by the WE Mgr and partly by other stakeholders in the global organization.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Web Analytics concepts. Knowledge of Omniture is an advantage
- Business acumen and the ability to distill relevant business drivers from analytics numbers
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, connecting to local stakeholders as well as a wide network of internal stakeholders in the global organization
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with working in a virtual team structure and ability to excel in remote electronic communication like Net Meeting, Video, Wiki etc.
- High degree of self-organization; ability to adapt targets to changing market conditions.
Formal Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of work experience, who has successfully worked in a comparable environment of digital marketing.
- College degree, including a background in statistics
- Expertise in MS Office, including advanced Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Fluent English and proficiency in German. Additional language skills are a plus.
