To support our Mechanical Engineering team, we are looking for strong personalities who would like to get involved in exciting design projects.Duration: 6 month (extension possible)
The following tasks are waiting for you:
Define and drive the Mechanical and Mechatronic design for medical capital equipment involving complex, state of the art technologies on a very large scale
Lead development teams working on projects including multi-disciplinary team members
Design and development activities including new product conceptualization, writing of requirements, detailed design work, engineering analysis and testing of prototypes
Help to determine development strategies for Mechanical Engineering
Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
Review of designs and guidance to junior engineers to keep costs low, ensure manufacturability and keep design quality high
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor/Master Degree and several years of related experience in Mechanical Engineering or comparable
Wide-ranging relevant experience in a regulated environment (preferred medical, alternative aerospace, defense and automotive)
Several years of experience with design, development, testing and operation of large scale capital mechanical systems for small volume serial production
Fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written) essential
Proficient in relevant tools (CAD Solid Works, PDM, MS-Office)
Knowledge of relevant standards as 13485, IEC
Strong design related analysis skills such as FEA, FMEA, tolerance analysis and risk analysis
