Main tasks:
- Software development for a new laser device, based on existing code basis
- Design of a new software architecture, support of the electronics team in defining a new hardware platform
- Design and implementation of software code, updating and creating software documentation
- Planning, execution and documentation of white-box and black-box tests
- Sustaining and enhancement of embedded software running on medical laser devices
Main qualifications
- Degree in communication technology, electronics, computer science or something similar
- Expert programming skills in C / C ++, C#, Java or Python
- Experience with functional safety concepts in medical devices (IEC 61508)
- Experience with medical standards (ISO 62304, IEC , ISO 14971, IEC , ISO62304 and FDA
- Fluent in English and German
