PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The MTT Strategy & Innovation team is a small and focused business technology team, that operates in a startup-like atmosphere, where agility and teamwork count. We are constantly looking for new ways to innovate, excite and make an impact for the business. Our projects cover the full application development cycle - from the definition of the business problem and the process analysis to the UX design and development.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of our team, you will play an integral part in the creation of applications based on SAP's latest technologies like the SAP Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for developing high-performing business applications with a consumer-grade user experience.
Your tasks will include:
. Work closely with designers, developers and product managers to build best-in-class user experiences;
. Design and develop performant and responsive UIs for all screen sizes using SAPUI5;
. Contribute to the entire application life cycle from the definition and design to the application go-live;
. Share ideas and knowledge with a small team of experts in a dynamic environment;
. Stay up to date on best practices and the latest technology developments.
Preferred start date for the internship is as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
. Student (f/m) at a university or universty of applied sciences in Computer Science or a related technical field
. Computer Skills: Experience in developing web applications with an eye for good design
. Knowledge of web development technologies as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
. Knowledge of at least one Object Oriented programming language like Java or C# would be a plus
. Language Skills: Proficient in English and German
. Previous project experience is a plus
. Soft Skills: Humor and common sense
. Structured and self-organized working style with a strong attention to detail and quality
