For our client we are looking for a freelancer Data Scientist for Nürnbergstart: 15.11.2018
end date: 31.03.2018
location: Nürnberg, in the beginning 5 days/week, later 3-4 days/week onsiteTasks:
- support the team as a Data Scientist
- Expert knowledge of Python and the Python data science stack (e.g. scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, Jupyter)
- Expert knowledge of optimization and / or machine learning algorithms and / or deep learning algorithms especially for working with textual data
- Expert skills with regard to database handling, in particular SQL, NoSQL
- Solid skills/experience in building production level REST services that us machine learning
- Solid skills in basic software development tooling (e.g., versioning via git)
- Basic knowledge of AWS esp. Sagemaker
- Ability to think creatively in addressing analytical objectives
- Ability to translate and clearly communicate sophisticated analytical information to none-expert stakeholders and clients
- Ability to fluidly communicate in an English business environment
- PhD or Master degree that reflects strong modeling, statistics and IT skills
- Typically 5+ years of work experience
