Position: Senior Python Developer
Duration: 12 months with a possibility to extend
Location: Koblenz (2 days working remotely is an option)
Rate: up to €85 per hour
What You’ll Do
• Perform REST API development in Python on the top of Machine Learning Library, optimization of Python objects, serialization in Python, leveraging multiple types of databases/data sources, and working with large collections of data
• Implement data provisioning and processing pipelines for Machine Learning algorithms in a scalable way utilizing microservices architecture Provide containerization and CI/CD
• Work with possible challenges that include microservice design and performance, versioning, building a resilient deployment pipeline, and optimization of data storage
• Development of Python Rest APIs under expert guidance:
o Source systems: JBoss, Weblogic, JMX
o Interfaces: various rest and SOAP APIs
o Target systems: Incinga 2, Grafana and Influx DB
What You Have
• Excellent Python development skills
• Experience developing Python applications with the use of multiple data sources/databases
• Experience working with large collections of data in Python (including NumPy and Pandas libraries)
• Experience with Python serialization and optimizing native Python objects
• Must have solid experience with REST API
• Experience developing and optimizing algorithms
• Knowledge of In-Memory, Classic SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of Machine Learning is a big plus
• Experience in distributed computing technologies like Hadoop and Spark is a plus
