Für unsere Serviceprojekte bei namhaften Kunden suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine(n) Web Information Architect (m/w)
In particular, the following tasks shall be undertaken:
WEB SITE
• Maintain content within the CIS Information Area (IA)
• Maintain existing interactive content (Home page ‘Features’, ad banners, Member States map, etc.)
• Develop new layouts, functionality and interactive content, in accordance with relevant internal processes (Change Request Process, Content Development Guidelines, Multimedia Guidelines, etc.)
• Coordinate and support web-specific tasks during key activities (launches, anniversary, etc.)
• Compose, edit and deliver video over the web
• Maintain key web service documentation (Change Request Log, Web Service Roadmap, Skills Matrix, etc.)
• Gather and report web site usage to the Management Board
• Regular reporting on the progress of web site projects
INTRANET
• Maintain existing interactive content (floor plan, on-line forms, home page features, etc.)
• Act as back-up for intranet content publishers within CIS
• Act as point of contact for intranet feedback and suggestions
• Maintain key intranet documentation (site map, author list, access group list, etc.)
• Gather and report intranet usage to the WMT
OTHER DUTIES
• Represent CIS at the web service and management forums (WST & WMT) and in other organisation-wide projects, as required
• Provide web UX and UI expertise to the organisation as a whole
• Develop new interactive content for intranet and website
• Manage other web-specific communications activities, especially in the context of launches
• These are: Build launch website and arrange for web streaming of launch events on the site
• coordinate with Web Coordinators from industrial partners to promote launches, etc.
• Record, edit and distribute satellite or television broadcasts over the web, to support communications activities
• Analyse and communicate CIS-specific IT needs
• Maintain Press Officer Portal SharePoint site
• Maintain documentation for all developments (functionality, interactive content & projects) in conformance with ISO requirements
PROFILE
The Consultant will need to demonstrate:
I. A thorough understanding and practical experience of the following:
a. Web development in HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS & Javascript
b. Content Management Systems (preferably Oracle UCM)
c. Web design and web UX, UI and IA concepts such as site mapping, wireframing and prototyping
d. Project Management
e. Web video delivery methods and standards
II. Expert knowledge of the following software:
a. Adobe Creative Suite CS4 (including Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator & Dreamweaver). An Adobe Certified Expert, especially in Photoshop and Illustrator, would be preferred.
b. Online collaboration environments (e.g. Microsoft Sharepoint)
c. Knowledge of the following products would be considered and advantage: Apple Final Cut Studio, professional sound and video compression tools (e.g.Sony SoundForge, Sorenson Squeeze), modelling & rendering tools (e.g. Maxon Cinema 4D)
The official languages of our customer are English and French. The working language for this position is English and therefore the consultant must be able to work effectively in this language, especially as far as written skills are concerned and have a knowledge of the other.
