VMWare Administrator/Operational Support - Germany - Freelance Contract 20% Remote
Our client is in the middle of a large scale Infrastructure project across the UK & Europe and requires additional support in their Virtualisation Teams with the addition of several VMWare Administrators & Systems Analysts in their operational teams. Long term project with 80% on site and 20% remote from the start.
Some of the required skills include:
- Expertise with VMWare Automation & Orchestration - vRA, vRO, vSAN, NSX...
- Expertise with Linux & Windows OS
- Problem & Incident Management, Execution of 2nd/3rd Level Cases
- Change & Release Management, Server Installation, Decommissioning...
Certifications in VCP, VCIX as well as fluent English combined with at least an intermediate level in German would make you the ideal candidate for this role.
You will be tasked with:
- Resolution of Incidents, Restart of Services, Execution of Problem Tickets
- Root Cause Analysis, Performance Analysis & Patch Detection
- Support during Continuity Testing
- Software/Code upgrades
The role is located near Hanover and my clients is offering both a long term commitment from the start with a flexible work week with at least an 80/20 split of on-site and remote work.
