Java Developer (m/f) with expert knowledge in Hadoop & Spark, Frankfurt area, Germany
Dear all,
we are currently looking to support our client in Frankfurt with an experienced Java Developer (m/f) with expert knowledge in Hadoop & Spark.
Responsibilities:
Collect business requirements for data hubs and big data processing solutions
Design and implementation of resilient and effective solutions
Development of implementations based on Hadoop and related products of the Hadoop vendor and other vendors
3rd level support for DataIn Application implemented in Hadoop field (reporting, monitoring tool for support cases, error handling, etc.)
Requirements:
academic education in computer science or a comparable qualification
several years of project experience in the context of Hadoop and Spark
Fluency in English, German an advantage
Since this project relies on a micro-service architecture based on Java and Spring-Boot, knowledge in these areas is another plus
Experience in:
Design and build data hubs
Ensuring unchangeable data storage
Design and development of storages for complex event processing
Stream processing of incoming data feeds
Optimizing performance of Distributed Data Pipeline
Improvement or validation of data quality, matching algorithms, data enrichment, metrics and scoring procedures
Rapid indexing & search on Hadoop
Production support
Working knowledge of HBase and Kafka is an advantage as these are part of our tech stack as well
