Task:For the development of a digital B2B product, our Customer is looking for a Backend Developer (m/f).
Having the first two versions of the product released, they are currently working on high value use cases for customers that require the development and integration of machine learning modules and integration with IoT platforms.
Our Customer:
• Uses a modern stack: React and Angular with Typescript in the frontend, Scala in the backend, Influx, PostgreSQL and MongoDB as databases, dockerized deployments on a private Kubernetes Cluster, hosted on Azure;
• Works in a fast-paced environment: They rely on a LESS / SCRUM-based workflow, push to release every 2 weeks, deploy with high automated test coverage, and constant monitoring.
• Works with an international team and communicates in English ONLY
• Believes in face to face communication and requires at least 3 days onsite presence each week
Requirements (Must have):
• Knowledge about the latest technologies and versatillity with modern languages, tools, and workflows
• In depth experience with Scrum/Kanban, Continuous Integration
• Experience in designing, developing and testing of fault tolerant software
• You have built scalable web applications (ca. 1.000 concurrent transactions)
• You feel comfortable with functional reactive programming (FRP) and Scala
Nice to have:
• You have been processing time series data at scale (e.g. using InfluxDB, Timescale, Druid and/or MongoDB)
• Experience with event sourcing pattern and data stream processing optimally with Kafka
• You have experience with real time analytics and optimization
Environment/Miscellaneous:
Fulltime at least 3 days/week onsite
