Tasks:
- Analysis of aircraft kinematic structure with respect to internal loads and A/C attachment loads reaction as a result of ground- or external load applications
- Dimensioning of structural parts, optimised for minimum weight and best stiffness
- Stress analysis for limit, ultimate and fatigue criterias with templates
- Analysis of fatigue damage values along Palmgren-Miner rule, definition of test spectra and interpretation of results
- Design Risk consideration and risk reduction proposals for structural parts
- Definition, monitoring and interpretation of development - and qualification tests
- Active work and dialog within a design team for concept and components optimisation
Your Qualifications:
- Good knowledge to static + fatigue load analysis of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of principles of light weight design keeping structural requirements
- Knowledge to structural stress analysis for limit and ultimate condition using traditional formulas along methods of stiffness analysis of flexible parts
- Evaluation of results via Finite Element Analysis
- Expert Knowledge in fatigue analysis and fatigue design optimisation with stress-life analysis
- Good knowledge of stress strain methodology
- Expert Knowledge to kinematic fatigue test definition and validation
- Knowledge to Airworthiness regulations and requirements (FAR, JAR, Mil,etc.)
- Experience in mechanics, kinematics, stiffness analysis, stress fatigue
- CATIAV5 / ProE
- Ansys, Rainflow
- MS Office (Word, Excel with Visual Basic application)
- English speaking and writing for conversation and technical documentation
- Good German speaking and writing
