HelloOn behalf of our leading client we re currently looking for a number of Linux Administrators with MQSQL knowledge.
We look forward to an experienced and highly communicative administrator, who brings a well-founded knowledge in the administration and support of Linux servers as well as MySQL database servers
Many years of experience with different Linux distributions, especially debian (debian, RHEL, CentOS, SLES)
Experience in building resilient systems
Proven ITIL skills (eg Foundation)
Very good knowledge of SQL, especially in MySQL and in the administration of MySQL servers
Very good knowledge in the administration of Linux server systems
Good knowledge of shell scripting
Knowledge of HA tools
Knowledge of virtualization techniques under Linux is an advantage
Good understanding of network technologies and protocols
Fluent German and good English skills
Independent, results-oriented and flexible work
As a Senior System Expert, you administer and maintain the Linux systems and MySQL database servers. They administer and optimize the Linux operating systems and advise the application operators to achieve optimal performance. Of course, you must take into account the relevant requirements for IT security. Your service-oriented working method will show you in the competent advice and support of specialist departments, suppliers and internal customers in the analysis of faults and problems. The creation and maintenance of documentation and operating manuals succeeds you thanks to your excellent German language skills and the understanding of English technical texts is easy for you. When implementing projects, you will be responsible for various roles from project management to collaboration in projects. They are ready to take on call readiness and shifts and like to work in a dynamic team.
