Aufgabe:Tasks:
The Quality and Configuration Management Engineer will be part of a project team aimed at designing, manufacturing and operating a train simulator needed for a very high speed train project.
- Write the configuration management plan defining how the hardware and software will be tracked for the transportation simulator; also describe how the spare parts and the documentation will be managed for configuration
- Determine configuration management processes
- Review engineering changes and determine if they impact the configuration of the transportation simulator; if they do, coordinate with the lead project engineer to ensure the modification will be implemented in a controlled way
- Train the team on the configuration management process and ensure processes are followed by all
- Ensure configuration data provided by suppliers is always accurate, monitor the configuration management processes by providing relevant key Performance Indicators
Anforderung:
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience required in configuration management
- Proven record of working in a project environment
- A positive team player
- Fully fluent in English and German (English will be the working language)
