The Role:
Our client is an innovative start-up company based in the heart of Munich, developing a ground-breaking product for the charging of electronic vehicles. Although this is quickly becoming a hotly contested industry, our client boasts an exceptional level of quality in both their product and their customer interaction. To help ensure their product is the very best on the market, they are looking for an experienced C++/Embedded Linux developer to join their team on a 12 month basis and lead their group of developers to further success.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new applications and updates on their already existing C++ system
- Improving the functionality of their software using Embedded Linux (Yocto)
- Contribute valuable ideas to both the direction of the product and the technology behind it
- Lead and advise a group of junior developers to help strengthen the quality of their team.
Preferred Background:
- Substantial C++ experience
- Extensive professional use of Embedded Linux
- A desire to play a significant part in their development team
- Experience with CANbus and MODbus is a positive
- Excellent knowledge of Yocto is a huge plus
- English speaking and written ability is a must, with German being a plus
