Web Developer/DevOps Engineer required for an initial 6 Month Contract based in Hannover, Germany. Our client is looking for long-term support in building and operating cloud-based DevOps tools and web applications.
The successful candidate will have proven experience migrating web applications to the cloud (MS Azure/AWS), Installation of applications in the cloud, Integration of cloud applications and Configuration Management experience, along with:
- Data migration
- Autonomous implementation of smaller development orders in the web environment
- Responsibility of individual DevOps tools in the role Product-Owner
- central contact for questions about the application
- Coordination of the change incident and problem management for the application
- Coordinate with business in case of changes to the system
Essential Skills
- Excellent understanding of web architectures (on-premise, cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Very good knowledge in web development
- Good knowledge of Java
- Good knowledge of DevOps tools, eg Subversion, Jira, Confluence
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment structures and processes
