Expert Power Electronics for Electric Vehicle (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Deep insight and collect market requirements for On-Board Charger (OBC) and DC/DC converter in electric vehicles
- Work closely with customer and product development and act as bridge in between for specifications clarification
- Solution suggestion (topology, power device choosing, magnetic design, control scheme) on specific requirements
- In-depth insight and analysis of state-of-art technology and the trends in academia and industry
- Promote and establish good cooperation with leading technology organizations inside and outside of client, suggest cooperation project partner
- Be responsible to research and break-through key technologies for OBC/DCDC
- Introduce advanced tools and methods for research and development
Main qualifications
- Solid experience in the area of power electronics for Electric Vehicle (EV)
- Product experience in OBC/DCDC development, ideally experience in communicating with European OEM
- Profound knowledge and experienced in power converter innovative design for EV
- Skilled in using power electronics relating design and simulation tools
- Solid language skills in English and German
- Willingness to travel (short-term global business trip)
