Job description:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer for the
¿Gateway¿ Implementation Team that is delivering to the E2E Instant Value Mobile Apps
as first consumer in 2010. Subsequently, Gateway will evolve into a standalone platform in 2011.
Education and Qualification/Skills and Competencies:
Strong quality and customer focus, self motivation
and drive for execution
Good problem solving skills
Very good understanding PIL and SAP¿s quality
standards
Independent working style as member of a LEAN Implementation Team
Sound product knowledge (SAP ERP, SAP NW)
Good understanding of design, setup and management of ABAP system landscapes
Proficiency in programming languages (ABAP preferred)
Proficiency in eCATT development
Tasks:
This position requires close co-operation with the
E2E Instant Value Mobile Apps project team and other dependent units such as Networked
Standard Solutions, Rainbow etc. and contribution to the respective integration team.
As Quality Engineer, you are expected to
-Define and monitor the quality related sprint backlog items based on the program quality goals
and the product backlog
-Work together with QPA and with the Scrum Team to ensure that the Done Criteria for a sprint
are met (input of sprint backlog items to meet the quality and test strategy for Gateway)
- Set up and configure the test landscape and its integration to Gateway and the delivery program
E2E Instant Value Mobile Apps
-Execute the test strategy in the context of the
delivery program and in co-operation with the QPA for Gateway including the creation of automated
tests using eCATTs
-Ensure execution of the ABAP Unit Tests of the
LEAN Implementation Team
-Drive continuous improvement process for the
LEAN Implementation Team
-Provide a transparent status to the Gateway
Product Team and proactively take appropriate
actions
Work Experience:
Several years of experience in a related role
ideally for a platform product
Experiences in LEAN
Experiences in eCATT and / or ABAP Unit Test
development
Language Requirements:
fluent in written and spoken German and English
