Management Consultant with PMO Managerial experience required urgently for a growing financial services company based in Frankfurt. The role requires a PMO Lead/PMO Manager to establish a well-functioning PMO. This is an initial six months contract paying up to £800pd.
The ideal candidate will have lead PMO/PMO Manager experience and would have worked for management consultancies.
Essential experience:
- Creating and leading a PMO function across multiple geographies
- Reporting into senior stakeholder including CEO
- Bringing federated programmes together
- Establish a well-functioning Program Management Office, leveraging existing processes, governance and templates where relevant and creating new ones where necessary
- Create a new central PMO team with a controller as well as potentially one junior resource
- Create a consistent and appropriate methodology for controlling both tactical and strategic projects
- Deliver strong financial control and visibility of projects incl. developing consistent methodology for business cases
- Support in creating accountability for all ongoing projects
- Certify that resources across the group are being used in the most appropriate way
- Solve problems on an ongoing basis, to support successful delivery of projects and support projects not on track as needed
- Work closely with mgmt. (role reporting into CEO)
