This is working for one of our prestigious client based in Frankfurt.
German language is not necessary but good English speaking is a must have skills. You must have a valid visa (not attached to any employer) to work in Europe without any restrictions.
Mandatory
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical system integrator and 1 year experience in single business sector, ideally in the financial, banking or insurance sector
- Deep knowledge of Sun Solaris, Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012, up-to-date PC technology and Client Server architecture
- Good Knowledge of Oracle 11g and 12c Databases and related products
- Deep knowledge of Tomcat 7 and 8
- An advanced-level command of English and an ability to present output in a clear, concise and understandable way, both orally and in writing
Desirable
- Good knowledge of Flexera InstallShield product (Windows packaging), solid experience in Solaris packaging. Experience with SQL Scripting
- Very good knowledge of Java 7 and 8
- Experience in producing technical documents such as installation instruction, installation plan and backup and recovery tests
- Knowledge of Windows Power Shell would be an asset and Unix Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of Apache Web server and MS IIS Web server
- Knowledge and experience in IT process such as release, change, incident and problem management (ITIL)
- Knowledge of Webservices and XML schemas (SOAP)
- Understanding of security and all related aspects
- Understanding of network technologies (DNS, TCP protocol, Firewall, etc.)
- Experience in 3rd level support
- Knowledge of ESRI GIS Server
Job spec
- The Integrator is experienced primarily in the UNIX and Windows operating systems. They have experience with Oracle Relational databases and Tomcat Application Server. The profile specifies a strong command of authentication technologies and security constructs and above all the profile demands a competency in XML to support shared services and data bus implementations using SOAP/web Services
- The Integrator is expected to have a good command of packaging techniques for UNIX as well as Windows plus experience in debugging/troubleshooting applications deployed in Tomcat
- Develop appropriate scripts, procedures and documentation for building packages and integrates them in testing environments
- Performs integration and other forms of technical testing and prepares the relevant technical documentation
- Supports end-users during acceptance tests and operational teams during migration to the production environment
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve bugs and incidents in the post-go live support of operations
- The role would involve liaising with the vendor/customers, datacentre for the physical installations as well as following the in-house change management processes including provision of technical documentation
- Provide training to 1st and 2nd level support staff with new procedures and techniques for application maintenance
- The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience
