Job Description
Role: Telecom Solution Designer/Architect
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany
Who are we looking for?
A senior level solution designer/architect to design a critical project for one of our biggest clients in the Telecomm Domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.
Technical Skills:
The candidate must have hands on experience in at least majority of the following including Solution design:
o Very strong knowledge in Java and J2EE technologies.
o Should have in depth understanding of authentication and authorization services eg: LDAP ADS ADFS and Back End API services that connects tools in cloud and other platforms.
o Strong Oracle design and programming experience.
o Experience with application integration/migration with good knowledge in databases (Oracle 12C or other) including handling competency in structured and unstructured data sources.
o Demonstrable Enterprise Architecture planning and design skills.
o Candidate should have experience articulating solutions to stakeholders as this role involves discussion at various levels with client business users.
o Responsible for gap analysis of functional flows, provide solution design, perform demo for the Gaps solution from standard solution sets as well customized solutions.
o Can independently solution business requirements and recommend industry best practices.
The candidate needs to be hands on exposure in Enterprise Architecture/Application Architecture/Systems Integration/End-2-End Architecture
Nice to have:
The candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience in handling/designing Telecom Commissioning and Management system with good knowledge in integration/migration.
The candidate must be aware of TOGAF or similar frameworks in telecommunication context.
Process Skills:
Create/Write Architecture & End to End solution design documentation.
Conduct workshop with various project stakeholders including project sponsors, business analyst, technical SME from all in-scope applications, project testing team.
Capable of analysing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process
Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/participate in peer reviews)
Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.
Prepare integration interface contract document for all the impacted applications for this project
Review component design document prepared for in-scope applications by the technical SME for the impacted applications
Review the scope of testing and provide signoff for project test plan, test approach and test cases prepared by the project testing team.
Review system test results shared by the impacted application development teams
Review system integration test results shared by the project testing team
Provide technical support to the project User Acceptance Test team
Prepare and review production deployment plan
Review production support document prepared by the applications support teams that will support this new project going forward
Govern any change request that may be submitted by the business team to change the scope of project requirement
Obtain project delivery signoff from the business sponsors
Obtain signoff from all the stakeholders for the design artifacts
Behavioral Skills:
Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
Qualification:
Somebody who has at least 12+ years of work experience in software development.
Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
