Position: SDN Network Engineer

Location: Darmstadt

Contract: Freelance

Languange: German speakers needed

Start: October

Duration: 3 Months

1. Extensive experience in networking domain and deep knowledge of SDN concepts and technologies
2. Virtualization in networking domain. Experience in developing platforms for deploying virtual network functions
3. Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
4. Knowledge of open source components involved in building software defined networks specifically on CORD architecture, ONOS, vOLTHA etc.
5. Contributions to open source components in the areas mentioned above is a good to have
6. Development and deployment Knowledge of PON deployment architectures (FTTH, FTTC etc).
7. Experience in central office management systems
8. Experience in element management systems, FCAPS, telemetry data management etc.
9. Functional knowledge of networking protocols like MPLS, LDP, BGP, OSPF, Segment routing etc.
10. Fault tolerant, high available product development experience is desired
11. Knowledge of TOSCA and YANG data modeling languages
12. Programming languages: Java, Python, C, C++, Go (any one)
