Kafka Integration Architect (m/f)

Main tasks:
- You are the owner of the Kafka integration platform and as such you define the policies around setup and management of topics and events, event and topic structure and similar related matters based on the target architecture and the requirements of the application domains
- You will provide consultancy to the teams using the integration and work together with a Senior Integration Developer to provide technical consultancy on how to connect the applications to Kafka (a technical team will provide and maintain the Kafka instance for you)
- Define integration guidelines (policy) and define policy for topic / event creation and maintenance
- Events modelling, mapping / translating of the application-defined languages to integration-defined language
- Documentation, creation / maintenance of standards and guidelines
- Providing trainings to the development teams which build the interfaces between Kafka and the business applications
Main qualifications
- Academic education in computer science or a comparable qualification and profound project experience in the Hadoop and Kafka context
- Experience in event / topic modelling / design
- Experience in integration architecture (company-wide)
- Experience with design and build of Kafka / Hadoop cluster
- Experience with productive operation of a Kafka / Hadoop cluster
- Experience in design and build of different interfaces from/to Kafka (Event-Driven Design, event definition, schema definition/schema registry, contract definition, delivery options)
- Experience with the following technologies: Java, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, RPC
