Implementation Architect (m/f)

Main tasks:
- You will make sure that the application architecture laid out by the Chief Architect is implemented efficiently
- You will participate in technical meetings, backlog refinements, increment planning and cross-team refinement meetings to help the teams focus on the minimum viable product
- You will ensure that agile teams and waterfall projects understand and implement the approved target architecture
- You will make sure the teams understand, define and use interfaces correctly and can work on them efficiently
- You will drive complex technical alignments between several teams while staying within the boundaries of target architecture
- You will develop architectural decisions into implementable and actionable concepts or policies
Main qualifications
- Proven ability in understanding complex architectures and implementing them with
- Software development teams
- Experience in financial services industry (preferably with credit card issuers)
- Profound understanding of enterprise architecture (application and infrastructure layers)
- Excellent architect-level application knowledge and practical experience of the following
- (or equivalent) software development technologies (Hadoop – Kafka, Spark, SAP HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, Java, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure)
- Excellent knowledge of modern software engineering practices in an agile environment (including continuous integration/deployment – Jenkins, Ansible, Atlassian)
- Fluency in English (minimum competence level C1 CEFR) is necessary to communicate within the project; fluency in German is an additional advantage
