Ihre Aufgaben:
- Investigate the impact of new software components and recommend actions taking the impact on the whole system into account.
- 2nd & 3rd Levelsupport for several business applications running on Citrix Terminal-Servers, including the involved infrastructure
- Installation, generation, modification, integration, testing and release of new operating, universal and standard software (Release management)
- Investigation and correction of system level problems. Definition and/or creation of system security policies, checklists, change and problem management procedures
- Improvement of installation and handover processes. Update of system documentation and system guidelines.
- Support and direct the system developers and system users in system technical questions.
- Creation of Installation & Testing Documentation according ITIL / CSV / GxP guidelines
- Propose concepts for tuning or performance management and identification and removal of error states on hardware, software and communication components.
- Proactive informing, consulting and support for introducing new technologies and standards
Ihre Qualifikation
- This role involves working in a process-driven, controlled & qualified environment
- The successfull candidates will take business application requirements and provide new server based application installations within existing Citrix farms for use by (a) remote users, (b) users in controlled environments and (c) users with thin clients. Change Management incl. creation and updating related documentation is part of the day-by-day work.
- The primary technology competencies requried are Windows Server 2003 and Citrix XenAPP 5.0. Experinece within Pharma or other authority controlled environment is an advantage
- When applicable and as time available, the candidates will support projects introducing new technology Solutions like application virtualization (e.g., Microsoft Application Virtualization, new XenApp versions, etc.)
- The candidate requires advanced skills in programming and scripting (VB/VBS) in order to create and update login scripts, embedding business applications into Citrix/Terminal Services and smal utilities (Example: service restart tool, profie reset tool).Experience with Windows PowerShell is an advantage
- Certificates: ITIL Foundation, MCSE/MCSA, and CCEA/CCA are an advantage
