Job Description
As a Senior Consultant…
• you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle
• You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution
• You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution
• You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope
• You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape
• We are looking for 8-10 years of experience in full implementation of VDI projects and related systems architecture experience with Thin Client/VDI/Virtualization technologies
Required
• Excellent Citrix VDI experience with ability to manage end user issues and support high number of VDIs.
• In depth understanding in Citrix XenApp (all versions), XenDesktop, Web Interface and other Citrix Components.
• Very good understanding & troubleshooting skills of Citrix Access Gateway, NetScaler.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills of Citrix products.
• Experience on Store Front, Provisioning Services, Citrix Director, Studio and Profile Management.
• Experience in making recommendations for leveraging system installation and reducing operating costs
• Should have good troubleshooting skills on the profile and group policy management
• Publishing applications in Citrix and application virtualization using AppSense and/or Microsoft App-V
• Must have very good knowledge in Edge sight configuration, reporting & analyzing the reports.
• Apart from Citrix XenApp, understanding of other core Citrix Components with related to Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory, GPO and TS/RDS is required.
• Manage Citrix Components like secure gateway.
• Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive situations and prioritize multiple projects with similar deadlines
• Complex problem troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Preferred
• Experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDesktop with multiple sites and farms.
• Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
• Good knowledge of Citrix PVS 7.6 and 6.1
• Should be able to resolve most complex issues related to Citrix components (Web Interface, XML Broker, Load Elevator, IMA, and Data store)
• Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Secure gateway/Web Interface /NetScaler
• Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager and installation manager.
• Should have very good knowledge in Application Streaming, App sense & App-v.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction is required in order to perform professional and organizational responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and communication skills to interact and work with global IT teams (EU based) & end customers.
