We are looking for an Engineer (m/f) - Product Test Wireless Data TestingDuration: 4 - 6 months Contract starting ASAP
Location - Germany - Frankfurt
Job Function: We are looking for 2 Test Technicians based near Frankfurt. The first position will start asap for 4-6 mths, the second position will be a Junior Test Engineer to start in approx 3 months time for 4-6months.
Skills/Experience:
- Looking for individual to test various features, performance, and signaling in the modem and application part of wireless data modules in a standalone and embedded forms in dynamic RF field and/or lab environments.
- Practical Knowledge in a few of the mentioned topics: CDMA, UMTS, GSM, ISO/OSI stack, handovers, Rake receiver, TCP/IP protocol, fading, source and channel coding.
- Good English communication skills (reading/written/oral). Any other language like German is a plus.
- Knowledge of any scripting language e.g. Perl would be a plus.
- Exposure to DM tools and 2G/3G wireless data devices.
- Executing, analyzing, and reporting test cases in commercial mobile networks across Europe.
- The testing includes but not limited to 2G/3G data performance and functionality, stress, regression, user scenarios, comparative, and sanity testing of data and SMS in commercial wireless field environments.
