Für unseren Kunden suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt in freiberuflicher Tätigkeit/ Festanstellung eine/n Transition Manager (m/w) in Essen.

Laufzeit: (Freelancer 3 Monate)

Ihre Aufgaben:

As a Transition Manager, you will be customer-focused, responsive, reliable, and detail-oriented with solid managerial, communication, and problem solving skills. You will act as the Single Point of Contact for customer during transition and will be responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. You should be capable of interacting with the business, customer and technology organizations, ensuring that the team is aligned with the strategic direction. You will be responsible for leading a portfolio of efforts, while also coaching/ mentoring project managers and other project team members and maintaining deliverables. You will make decisions with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. You will serve as an advisor to the management team when it comes to the implications of shifting priorities, always working to ensure projects are executed on schedule. Looking for 7+ years of project management experience.


Ihr Profil:

• Good understanding and experience in delivering projects using Global Delivery Model
• Responsible for all transition activity and the day to day transition of each track in Workplace services from incumbent (including Service Desk, EUC Field Services and Backend Infra)
• Work closely with all functions as needed to proactively identify potential internal and external conflicts; mitigate risk and adhere to launch transition schedule commitments.
• Conduct regular formal reviews with customer to ensure that customer is satisfied with progress during transition
• Agree, formalise and deliver service level agreement reports as outlined by contract and agreed with customer.
• Aid in design of reports to customer during transition.
• Maintain relationship with customer senior management and update agreed escalation paths with client as required and as supported by contract.
• Tracks progress of project against goals, objectives, approved budgets and approved timelines.
• Own and report to senior management the project transition status and critical path for completion. Provide visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through status reporting to all stakeholders.
• Monitor quality of process effectiveness and deliverables; suggest improvements as needed
• Manage transition across a geographically and culturally diverse organization and travel as needed.
• Establish agreements with supporting organizations.
• Ensure requirements are agreed upon by program participants and stakeholders.

Preferred

• Engineering or science degree
• PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
• Proven ability to meet project timelines and comfortable wearing multiple hats and being under time pressure
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team across functions and experience levels
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
• Commendable Problem Solving skills: Anticipate, create and define innovative and visionary concepts in strategic environment
• Ability to operate independently and innovate and to lead in a rapidly changing organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization, interacting, influencing, negotiating effectively with all levels of leadership and peers
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
• A take-charge and decisive person capable of leading large scale initiatives.
• Professionalism and strong consultative skills.
