My client is a leading IT airline company based in Frankfurt, who are looking for a Java developer to help build out their microservices platform using Spring Boot.
Your tasks- Further development and networking of the tools and components involved in the business process
- Implementation of comprehensive reporting requirements
- Assistance in the preparation of architectural decisions
- Design and build reusable microservices
- Integration of third-party systems in our system landscape - REST/SOAP APIs
- Creation and execution of tests (JUnit)
- Creation and completion of written specifications/user stories
- You have completed an IT degree with good success or have comparable professional experience
- You have a 5 year commercial development experience with Java
- You have experience in the development of microservices and their lightweight communication with each other (eg via REST/JSON)
- You're probably bringing AWS/DevOps experience with you
- You can master tools like Spring Boot, Git, Gradle and ideally Netflix OSS
- You have knowledge of relational databases (eg MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- You have very good German language skills
