Senior Development Engineer (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Work within a project team responsible for the full range of activities associated with the development of control software used in AC motor drives and/or grid-connected converters
- Analyse the system to be controlled, define and clarify required tasks as well as ensure effective execution of projects – on time and in budget
- Developing simulation models and simulator environments
- Contribute to the control software testing to ensure defined quality standards are met
- Solve challenging control problems and also solve on the customer’s premises
Main qualifications
- Completed studies in the field of electrical and/or software engineering
- Good knowledge of power converters and motor drives
- Demonstrable understanding of control theory, including theoretical analysis and controller design
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation
- Knowledge of real-time software development with C, C++
- Excellent command of English, knowledge of German would be beneficial
