Your Tasks:
Support of satellite projects from the pre-development phase up to launch campaign, including in-orbit commissioning
Support the definition of the Avionics design by elaborating software related concepts and requirements
Support the definition of the Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) approach
Analysis of system requirements and extraction of Avionics related software requirements (Software System Specification)
System-level planning and supervision of the Avionics software development
Organisation and conduction of internal software reviews
Cooperation with project team, systems engineering and other divisions
Planning and definition of the Avionics software test campaign, provision of support during test phase, and evaluation of test results
Your Qualifications:
Degree in engineering with a major in space technology, computer technology or comparable qualifications
Several years of professional experience as system engineer or software engineer of Embedded software, ideally in the space industry, aerospace or an area with similar development processes
Good knowledge of state-of-the art requirements engineering and management practices and tools (eg DOORS)
Relevant experience and good knowledge of practically applying engineering standards (eg ECSS-E-ST-40C or DO-178B/C)
Excellent communication skills
High degree of flexibility
Enjoy teamwork in large projects
Ability to work effectively and independently
Fluency in spoken and written English
