We are looking for a for Physical Layer Software Consultant (m/f)Our client is an industry leader in design, development, and the creation of cutting-edge mobile platforms and wireless semiconductors. The company is a key supplier to four of the industry's top five handset manufacturers, who together represent about 80 percent of global handset shipments, as well as to other exciting industry leaders.

Job description:
- Design and implementation of physical layer SW for mobile platforms supporting newest technology and standards
- RF Control SW development
- Simulation and verification of algorithms
- SW design and programming in C for ARM and DSP environment
- Integration of SW on target, i.e. embedded systems and DSPs and verification of algorithms on target
- Solving of error reports / change requests from internal and external customers
- Maintenance during product life cycle
- Using CM tools (Clear Case) and SW build systems
- International team work
- Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant
- telecommunication/Engineering field
- Experience with physical layer SW development for embedded systems, RF hardware and/or DSPs, with a minimum of 3 years design experience
- Knowledge of UMTS/LTE or WLAN standards in the physical layer and future developments within 3GPP, OFDM, MIMO
- Preferably Signal Processing know-how
- Programming in C/C++, Matlab and usage of CM Tools (ClearCase)
