Main tasks:
- Level 2/3 support with the main focus on Data Centre technologies
- Monitoring of the ticketing system (Service Now) and ticket handling to achieve and exceed SLA/OLA requirements
- Advanced trouble shooting supporting Data Centre technologies with focus on Linux and Windows servers
- Basic knowledge of NetApp storage administration, Hypervisor/VMware, Cisco UCS hardware
- Technical coordination and preparation of technical documentation and reports
- Knowledge transfer to L1 engineers
- Assisting Level 1 Engineering teams with escalation support
- CMDB accuracy & maintenance
- Change request logging, evaluation and execution
- Risk analysis and management
- Accurate RCA to drive problem management
Main qualifications
- Relevant work experience in the Data Centre and Security areas
- Basic Data Centre knowledge (servers, virtualization, backup services)
- Understanding of Event, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management as per ITIL best practice
- Fluent English and German skills (in speaking and writing) - at least C1
- Working experience with managing Linux (SLES 11 / SLES 12 / RedHat 7 / Oracle Linux 7 - CLI) Server: Advanced Troubleshooting, iSCSI / Multipath
- Knowledge of managing Windows servers would be a big plus
