We are looking for Data Scientist (m/f) for our client in Essen / Munich.Start : 01.06.2018
Duration : 2months + option
Location : 70% Remote + 30% Essen, Munich
Tasks:
• Process huge set of big unstructured data from internal systems in combination with external web data.
• Program significant metrics and indicators with advanced analytical functions and machine learning in Spark, Spark streaming, R and Python.
• Solve Classification, Clustering, Regression and Prediction problems with State-of-the-Art machine learning methods.
• Design data models on RDBMS as well as in Hadoop HDFS, Hive and Hbase.
• Implement batch and stream data ingesting methods including cleaning, pre-processing and verification of data integrity.
• Design and implement real-time data stream analytics and complex event processing using Kafka and Storm.
• Develop new advanced algorithms for time series predictions, condition monitoring, state change detection and asset optimization.
• Perform explorative and ad-hoc data analysis, visualize results in an appealing manner and present the findings in clear statements to business partners
Skills:
• Ph.D. or master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• 2 years minimum working experience as a data scientist
• Extensive knowledge in statistics, machine learning, time series analysis and data mining.
• Expert in implementing advanced data analytics in Hadoop using Spark, Python, R, HDFS, Hive and Hbase.
• Experience in programming real-time stream analytics and complex event processing with Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm.
