Telekommunikation - Technical Account Manager (m/w) Ref.Nr: 8499 SW/JG

Zeitraum: asap bis Ende 2010 mit Option auf Verlängerung
Einsatzort: D6

Tasks:
- technical interface to the customer, customer interaction (remote+customer site)
- interface with a key account for technical issues at a local level
- work with counterparts in other countries, travel when necessary
- work with other customers Teams working on the key account under the direction of the Technical Account Director for the account
- drive the technical acceptance of Products, services and end-to-end solutions with the local Operation Company (OpCo), including:
- Ensuring customised software is available in line with the agreed schedule
- Providing samples to the carrier
- Resolving defects raised by the OpCo by taking logs, etc.
- Managing the Software release process with the costomer and drive Technical approval with the customer
- Being the customer interface during the product launch phase
- Ensuring issues follow-up and general communication with customer and customers Teams
- Resolving issues: perform customer specific testing, take logs, communicate with development/feature teams
- Negotiating with the customer to de-prioritise launch impacting defects
- Product customization:
- Own handset customisation for the customer(s) under his/her area of responsibility, including:
- Agree customisation options with the customer and then liase with the internal teams to ensure changes are implemented.
- liason with internal teams for the inclusion of 3rd party applications
- handling the delivery of Hardware and Software to the internal and customer test teams.
- Generate customisation files and performs sanity checks
- Technical support
- Provide technical information, samples upgrade/verification, participation in technical trials/demonstrations for customer(s) and account teams to maximise commercialisation aspects.

Requirements:
- Engineering degree
- 3 years work experience in mobile phones business
- Experience in Android platform test and debug tools (HTML, Java programming)
- Good experience of telecommunications industry
- Good knowledge in 2G and 3G system topology and protocols
- Good knowledge of telecommunications testing processes
- Good knowledge of the telecommunications market
- Good negotiation skills in customer facing environment
- Willingness to business trips, frequent travel to customer locations and other customers facilities
- a good level of English
- driving license 3
