Telekommunikation - Deployment Test Engineer (m/w) Ref.Nr: 8502 SW/JGVertragsverhältnis: angestellt

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Supports test plan development and test case creation
- Run software tests and recordsresults; perform root cause analysis to identify issues; and submit requests to development team to correct defects. Provide recommendations on problems of limited scope
- Make product configuration customizations
- Conduct training of regional teams on Product
- Maintain positive relationships with other customers functions; develop a reputation as a go-to person within and outside of immediate team
- Travel to customer locations may be required occasionally
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Bachelors degree in a software or engineering discipline
- 2 years working experience in software quality assurance or test
- Experience testing on wireless technologies such as GSM, UMTS
- Experience with Mobile Applications products in consumer markets (handheld device, mobile Phones)
- Prefer experience with protocol-level analysis using tools such as tcpdump, WireShark, and Ethereal
-Working knowledge of Windows; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
